Anna’s Hope Vet Clinic is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit Veterinarian Clinic located in Western North Carolina. Anna’s Hope Vet Clinic was founded by Heidi and Todd Wagner in April of 2026. Anna’s Hope Vet Clinic is committed to providing affordable care and focus on spay and neuters, and will also be a full service veterinarian Clinic.

Clinic Veterinarian - Dr. Patricia Wilfert-
Dr. Patricia Wilfert graduated the University of Florida College of Veterinary medicine in 2002. Prior to vet school, she received her bachelors in animal science and her masters in animal nutrition also from the University of Florida. She initially started her veterinary career working for the US. Army where she took care of the military working dogs, was in charge of the base animal shelter, assisted military members’ pets and ensure the health of the soldiers via food inspection. After the army, she worked various small animal veterinary jobs in both Savannah and Atlanta GA. She moved to the Hendersonville area in 2020 due to her family’s love and desire to be in the mountains. After Hurricane Helene hit this area, Dr. Wilfert started helping with food donations and free vet clinics on her days off. This is where she developed a desire to help those in the area by providing more options for veterinary care. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and son. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and hanging with her chickens. In addition, she does wire wrapped jewelry on the side and makes unique and wonderful piece with copper and sterling silver. You may catch her at local markets selling her jewelry. She loves all animals but currently has a three-legged kitty named Jelly Bean. She also has seven chickens that she loves to hang out with. Her veterinary passion is spay and neuter to help reduce the pet population. She also loves puppy and kitten exam to help educate clients on proper care and training. Dr. Wilfert is excited to help bring low cost but high quality veterinary care to Western North Carolina.
Andrea Mills, Veterinary Assistant
Andrea is a veterinary assistant with Anna's Hope Veterinary Clinic. She is originally from Asheville, NC and has a love for animals and the mountains. Prior to landing in veterinary medicine, she went to AB-Tech Community Collage while working in kitchens as a server. Once she entered the world of caring for animals - she never looked back. She has 5 pets, four cats and a dog (who thinks he’s a cat) along with two fish tanks. Within that full house she’s got two kids of her won and a loving husband that helps support her passion for saving animals and helping those who can’t help themselves,
